Fellow Bloggers

Love reading your words, I say,
Either of happiness or dismay,
Released like birds everyday,
Into the blogosphere without pay.
Your words, like eyes, portray
Your soul and its bouquet.
I laugh, ponder and relay.
Your thoughts never at bay,
Good to write your own way.
At different hours of the day,
We sit, think and pound away
At words, ideas before they stray.
Our hearts and minds, we obey.
Sometimes we cannot play,
For our words call us away;
Other times we are at play
Because our words made our day.
Would you give it up? Nay!
Now to my followers, I say
I’m honored by your stay.

Thank you. This poem comes with the end of NaPoWriMo, which has created a snowball effect inside me, in regards to poetry. The first critic is definitely the writer. Then when one person says ‘I like’ that is a powerful statement. So this is kudos to all writers out here, writing and supporting each other.
