With Bated Breath

Magnolia, reserved, dressed
Like a virgin bride, accepting
Secret kisses and waltzes
With the sun high above
The notice of humans
Who are set in a frivolous
Love affair to stop and smell
Rose. Maggie, forlorn and ravishing,
Still holds the wedding rice in her clutches
As she watches Rosie bloom into the typical newlywed.

I never saw a magnolia befor coming to Arco they are so beautiful…you’ve rendered them a great service, everyone talks about roses, but the magnolia is forgotten… 🙂
