Sunlight – A Tyburn

Light in the east, stirring, calming souls
Into the west, arcing, pacing goals.

  1. Nice!
I shall have to try this form….

  2. Bastet says:

Very interesting, like the poem and the form is interesting…is this then a 6 line poem…aaaabb…the first 4 lines can be more than one word?

    • Shainbird says:

That’s right Georgia, 6 lines: aaaabb at syllables 222299, respectively. The first four lines must be one word because you must reuse them again in lines 5 and 6 to make up syllables 5 thru 8 then follow through by rhyming the last two lines.

Type me what you think.
