Looks Like Rain

The sky blinked shyly
To the applause. Encore!
Closer and closer drew
The light to the sound
And the gentle rains
Were born, giving life
To yellowed leaves
Rejoicing in dances
Upon dry ground. Every
Drop absorbed like kisses
Of a long-lost love, drops
Growing up in coming
Down, landing like dimes
From heaven producing
Mirrors on the ground
To reflect smiles, drowning
Sorrows in puddles, paving
Rivers all around leading.
