The End of Summer

Note: Sahm has given us Monday Poetry Prompt #19: Micropoetry!: “We’re going to do this in the form of a poem… Micropoetry! Brevity is the key here. Can you tell a story, through poetry, in as few words as possible, concerning the following words: 1. Black 2. Hamburger 3. Mattress.”

Back to school
has blackballed
the mattress
and the hamburger.

Back to school has blackballed a lot of things. :/ And Walmart ran out of notebooks. 😦 I love notebooks. Nicely done, Shainbird!
