Against the Darkness – A Rispetto

© Shainbird

The elusive tone of a flame
Silhouettes against the darkness.
Hues of your soul whence first you came
Match the pigments of forgiveness.

The light of peace against dark minds
Shares the tint of love for all kinds.
Bold shades of words amid silence
Streak bright across the neutral fence.

Shainbird, I love this. I take prompts so literally, that I would never have come up with something so amazing! You stuck to the prompt and wrote a poem that touches my heart and soul. And I am impressed that you also got your Black & White photo combined 🙂 Smart!

    Love the poetic form, too.
